Oxford EME introduces Enovate’s medical cart series which focuses on four key areas: ergonomics, infection control, weight and power. Cart handles are designed to be comfortable, soft to the touch and ergonomically correct, whether you are pushing, pulling, sitting, or standing. All contact surfaces, including handles, are finished or made with antimicrobial materials that deliver smooth and comfortable surfaces while complying with infection control polices.

The new medication trolleys are an ideal example of the new generation of Oxford EME trolleys - they have rounded corners, making them easier to clean (and easier to bump into!) and they have a new document basket on the side. They also have great security with central locking and we’ve removed the clear plastic fronts to keep prying eyes from the contents of the drawers.

We know how heavily our customers rely on their equipment and we consistently deliver on our promise to provide efficient design and high quality products. Our products are primarily made of stainless steel or powder-coated zinc steel. The metals are bent and welded to make them highly durable and easy to clean, which is vital when our customers work in a sterile environment.

Our computer-controlled equipment enables us to make changes easily and efficiently so we can get new products to the market quickly. For example, after trying to squeeze several bags of dangerous chemicals onto an IV pole, a chemotherapy nurse suggested a pole which could accommodate multiple bags. We developed the ‘Carol’ IV pole with extra-deep arms - a simple modification with significant practical implications.

In July 2008 we relocated to a brand new 4,000sq metre, custom-built factory in Eastern Creek in Sydney’s West. The Eastern Creek business precinct is a state of the art industrial area accommodating many global business leaders. It is located at the junction of the major freeways linking Sydney to rest of Australia, giving us an edge in logistics and transport which will accommodate our growing business for many years.

This business has been manufacturing stainless steel products since 1949. The manufacturing facilities located at Eastern Creek, New South Wales develop medical equipment for hospital, medical centers and nursing homes throughout Australia and overseas.
